There are a number of suggestions across the board for whether a collar or harness is better for dogs.  Some trainers and websites advise that a certain type of collar is best and others say that a harness is best... So, now what do you do? Let's look into this further and help you figure out if a collar or harness is best for your dog.   Are you walking your dog on a leash; or will your dog be using a dog tie out? Using a Harness or Collar when Walking Your Dog: Using a a harness for walking has become general practice, but not all dogs need a harness .  For example, if your dog is trained and walks like a champ, you don't need a harness, a collar will do just fine. However, if your dog needs to get used to walking on a leash, then a harness may be better when on walks through the park.  This will eliminate your dog from basically gagging itself and hacking down the trail through the park.  Training your dog to use a collar should be your ultimate goal.  A harness is great

Happy Holidays everyone! Every year, my wife and I get a big bone for She-She and a bag of tennis balls for Roo.  The dogs are so happy, I can't imagine what else we could have gotten them that could even make them happier.  But, then I realize they are just as happy on all the other days of the season just sleeping on the couch next to us, running around on the Dog Run they inspired and getting fed; Oh! lets not forget, the ever impending food spills from the kids they get to clean up after.  Basically, everyday is like Christmas to them because they are happy with the world they live in and the people that were chosen to care for them.  Such a simple thing, sometimes it makes you wonder why that simple happiness is so difficult to achieve for humans.  Why do we need all this stuff to make us happy when there are clear examples of what I would call "true humanity" walking around your home showing us the way to happiness on a daily basis? Can you cut the grass or mow the lawn without removing the Double Dog Run?? The simple answer is YES you can still mow the grass with the Double Dog Run Tie Out System installed in the ground. Many people always worry about having the install and uninstall a tie out for the grass company or for when you cut the grass yourself.  There is no need to completely take the entire tie out out of the ground for that.   As you can see from the picture above there is a quick link that connects the main swivel to the Jaw and Eye swivel that comes out of the topper.  Simply unscrew the quick link and remove both leashes. You will also notice that the base plate is almost flush to the ground with our tie out system.  This is where you can run the mower or blades over it and get all the grass around the base plate without destroying the topper.   We made a video to help we made a video to help our customers understand how this is done and ensure that the Double Dog
